The space available under the appliance allows for the storage of a 29x60cm gas bottle after use.
LEAK CONTROL
Never use an open flame to check for leaks. Do not check for leaks by smoking.
The gas connections have been tested by the manufactu-
rer to avoid any risk of leakage.
However, the appliance should be checked regularly
for leaks. Check immediately if you smell gas.
Check the leakage control points :
1.
gas cylinder valve / regulator
2.
regulator / hose
3.
hose / gas inlet of the appliance
Prepare a soap solution with one part dishwashing liquid
and three parts water. The soap solution can be applied
with a bottle, brush or cloth to check for leaks, as shown
in the diagram opposite. The gas cylinder valve must be in
the OFF position at this stage of the test. Once the soapy
solution has been applied to the gas connections, the gas
supply valve can be turned to the open (ON) position. If
there is a leak, soap bubbles will form in the applied solu-
tion. If there is a leak, turn off the gas supply. Repair the
leaking connections, open the gas supply and carry out a
new check.
