Installing the spark arrestor screen
and cap
□ Install the spark arrestor screen (B) on top of the upper
flue (C).
□ Place the cap (A) on top of the spark arrestor screen (B).

Operation

Starting and maintaining the fire
WARNING: Do not leave the unit unattended while the fire
is burning.
NOTE: Check the fireplace for any signs of damage or
disrepair before each use.
NOTE: A large fire can damage or shorten the life of the
unit.
□ Remove the cap (A) from the top of the unit.
□ Open the door (O).
□ Place small pieces of wood on the grates (N) and ignite.
□ Add larger pieces of wood to the fire one at a time as
necessary to keep the fire at a reasonable level.
□ Close the door (O).

Installing the ash drawer, door, and
safety tool
□ Insert the ash drawer (K) into the stove bottom (H).
□ Install the door (O) onto the mesh stove assembly (F).
□ Place the safety tool (M) on the hook (L).
