Assembly
The wheels (11) on the frame (7) and on the rear axle with brake (8) are preassembled on delivery.
The following assembly instructions describe how to remove and reassemble the wheels and how
to replace damaged parts with original replacement parts.
Two open-end wrenches (not included) are required to assemble the wheel tree.
Assemble the frame
To ease assembly of the front wheel, it is recommended to secure the frame, e.g. by
clamping the frame to a tabletop (table tennis table). You can use a screw clamp to do
this (not included).
1. Lay the frame (7) with the socket for the lower tube (without plug) (3) on a stable surface so
you can easily access the fork near the front end.
2. Place the wheel (11) centered between both branches of the frame.
3. Slide the wheel between the frame and fasten it with the front axle (5), two washers (thin,
20 mm) (6), and a nut (ø 9 mm) (14) (see Fig. B).
The frame is now fully assembled.
Assemble the rear axle
To ease assembly of rear axle with brake, it is recommended to secure it, e.g. by
clamping it to a tabletop (table tennis table). You can use a screw clamp to do this (not
included).
1. Lay the rear axle with brake (8) flat on a working surface. Make sure you can easily access
both ends of the rear axle with brake.
2. Attach a wheel (11) to the journal on the rear axle with brake (see Fig. C)
3. Fasten the wheel with one washer (thick, 20 mm) (15) and a nut (ø 9 mm) (14).
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other end of the rear axle with brake.
The rear axle with brake is now fully assembled.
Assemble the connecting tube
1. Pick up the connecting tube (18).
2. Hold the stopper (21) against the mounting hole from below (see Fig. E).
3. Screw the screw (7 mm) (19) with the washer (17 mm) (20) into the stopper from above.
4. Make sure that the stopper lies fully flat against the bend in the tube.
5. Do not overtighten the screw to prevent squashing the tube in its diameter.
The connecting tube is now fully assembled.
