Installing the plates
1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains.
2. Position the grill so that the controls are facing you. Lift up the handle and open the grill.
3. Insert the plate into the openings in the covers and press lightly. It will click into place. Repeat the process with the
second plate.
Removing the plates
1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains and has cooled
down completely.
2. Press the plate release buttons located on the right side and in the middle of
the top front part of the grill.
3. After pressing the button, the plate will pop up slightly out of the base. Lift
the plate up and slide it out of the centre brackets. Repeat the process with
the second plate.
4. The plates can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
Fully open position (180°)
If you want to fully open the grill, press the button (6) on the right side of the
handle hinge and push the handle back.
Half open position (90°)
The grill can be used in a half open position. If you want to half open the grill,
simply lift the handle to a fully upright position. The grill will remain in this position
until you close it, or open it to the fully open position.
Removing the drip tray
The grease produced during cooking is drained through small grooves at the back
of the plates into a drip tray located at the back of the bottom cover. Clean the drip
tray after each use of the appliance, it can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
