Thank you for having chosen the KÜCHENPROFI fondue set L US NNE.
Please read through the instructions carefully prior to using it for the first
time and keep them for future users. Please pay particular attention to
the safety instructions.
Important Information
If the appliance is used or handled in an inappropriate manner, we
cannot be held responsible for any ensuing damage. This appliance
is intended for domestic use only.
Safety Instructions
1. Please read through these operating instructions carefully before
using the appliance for the first time.
2. In the event of this appliance being passed on to other people,
please ensure that these operating instructions are handed over to
them along with the appliance.
3. Operate the fondue set under supervision only and use it for the
intended purpose only, i. e. melting cheese.
4. Children do not know the dangers that may arise when using a
fondue set. Therefore, never leave children unsupervised near the
appliance.
5. Only place the burner on a flat and stable surface as well as out of
reach of children. If necessary, protect your tabletop against radiated
heat.
6. Please take care that there are no highly inflammable objects near
the burner.
7. The safety paste burner must only be operated using safety paste.
Please do not fill with any other types of fuel, e.g. spirit.
Prior to First Use
· Please read through the operating instructions as well as the safety
instructions first.
· First of all remove all packaging materials
· Clean the fondue pot as well as the forks in warm washing-up water.
· Use a soft cloth, a sponge or a brush for this purpose.
· void hard objects, steel wool and scouring agents.
Hints for use
· dd the desired quantity of fondue cheese into the pot and melt it at
medium heat on the stove. The fondue pot should not be filled with
cheese by more than approx.
· Place the fondue pot with the melted cheese onto the rechaud. If necessary,
wear oven mitts when carrying the fondue pot. Now, use a stick lighter
or a long match to ignite the fondue paste in the fuel burner.
· You can set the intensity of the flame in accordance with the temperature
you need.
Holes open = high flame
Holes closed = low flame
· Use the forks to skewer the prepared pieces of food like bread cubes
and dip them in the melted cheese.
· Caution: Never leave the fondue pot unattended or in the proximity of
children when it contains melted cheese. Help children to dip and take
out their pieces of food.
· From time to time stir the melted cheese to avoid sticking on the bottom
of the fondue pot. Drawing an 8 to stir the cheese completely.
