Problem
The fan does not start.
The fan does not start.
The fan starts without any
reason (automatic system).

Cable failure.

Defective fuse F1.

Incorrect power supply or
voltage failure.
4 Fan contactor does not work.

The motor protector has re-
leased.
6
The main or safety switch has
been shut off.
The sensor does not work (automat-
ic system).
The sensor indicates because of dis-
turbing surrounding equipment for
example other welding equipment
or high voltage unit.
Cause
1
Check that cables and cable con-
nections are in good condition
and screws are fastened.

Change the fuse F1 in the opera-
tion box.

Check the power supply to the
fan (all phases). Check correct
voltage connection: block J6.
Check with a voltmeter if any
voltage (24 V ± 10 %) on block
J7.
4 Check according to the wiring
diagram that cable conductors
are correctly connected to the
Fan Contactor Box and to block
J2 and J7.

Check the motor. Reset the mo-
tor protector.

Check main and safety switch.
• Check that the sensor cable is in
good condition.
• Check the sensor connection
to block J4 and that screws are
fastened.
• Check that the LED on the sensor
clamp indicates during the weld-
ing work.
• Eliminate or screen the disturb-
ances off.
