2 Description and function
2.1 Product
The product is a bidirectional HDMI™ switcher that trans-
fers either 1x HDMI™ input signal to 2x HDMI™ output de-
vices or optionally 2x input signals to 1x output device. Pow-
er is supplied via the HDMI™ sockets. The product cannot
be used as a splitter.

3 Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use
and its intended purpose. This product is not inten-
ded for commercial use. We do not permit using
the device in other ways like described in chapter „Descripti-
on and Function" or in the „Safety Instructions". Use the pro-
duct only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regu-
lations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents,
injuries, and damages to persons and property.
4 Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and in-
tegrity.
2. Compare the specifications of all used devices and en-
sure compatibility.
5 Connection and operation
See Fig. 2.
There are 2 ways to use the switch box.
You can either transmit 1x input signal to 2x output devices
or alternatively 2x input signals to 1x output device.
Variation A: 1x input signal to 2x output devices
1. Connect one source device to the HDMI™ socket (3) of
the switch box.
2. Connect two output devices to the HDMI™ sockets
Channel 1 (4) and Channel 2 (5) of the switch box.
The input signal is displayed on one of the output devices.
3. Press the switch button (1) to switch between the out-
put devices.
The LED status indicators (2) light up when the respective
HDMI™ socket is active.
Variation B: 2x input signals to 1x output device
1. Connect two source devices to the HDMI™ sockets
Channel 1 (4) and Channel 2 (5) of the switch box.
2. Connect an output device to the HDMI™ socket (3) of
the switch box.
One of the input signals is displayed on the output device.

3. Press the switch button (1) to switch between the in-
put signals.
The LED status indicators (2) light up when the respective
HDMI™ socket is active.
Connection cables are not included in the delivery. Make
sure that the source and output devices as well as the con-
nection cables support the resolutions and standards of
the product! Observe the maximum transmission distances
and resolutions.
6 Maintenance, Care, Storage and
Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE!
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry
and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
7 Disposal instructions
According to the European WEEE directive, electri-
cal and electronic equipment must not be disposed
with consumers waste. Its components must be re-
cycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise
contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the
health and pollute the environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electri-
cal and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or pu-
blic collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for
free. Particulars are regulated in national right. The symbol
on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging all-
udes to these terms. With this kind of waste separation, ap-
plication, and waste disposal of used devices you achieve
an important share to environmental protection.
