Prior to use
When operating the Twin Tester, use 3x LR6 batteries (AAA)
If testing a gem smaller than 1.2mm or 0.1 carat, leave enough time for the stone to cool off.
If you touch any metal parts around the gem, false results may occur.

Conditions of operation
This tester is based on heat conductivity. Room temperature should be between 18 and 27 Degrees (65-80F), humidity
under 80%
The gem tested should be dry and clean. The gem should also be at room temperature.
Instructions
To test a mounted gem
One hand holds the gem the other hand the tester. One forefinger should be on the conductive panel.
Light scale should be on position "READY"
Gently place the probe tip onto the tested stone. Do not exercise any pressure on the probe tip as it could bend.
If the light turns red, the stone is a counterfeit (Cubic Zirconia)
If the light turns blue, the stone is a moissanite.
If you touch to a metal piece, the light will be yellow
If the light turns green together with a continuous buzzing sound, the stone tested is a diamond.
To test loose gem
Follow the same instructions. When using the testing platform (number 14), keep a finger on the platform. The other
forefinger has to be on the conductive panel (number 13).
