When the light goes out, the required temperature has been reached.
DRY IRONING
▶To dry iron, turn the variable steam control knob all the way to the
right to "0". This will shut off the flow of steam if there is water in
the water tank.
▶Press the temperature adjustment button to select the desired
fabric/temperature setting, place the iron on a flat and stable place
in upright mode.
▶When the iron reaches the selected temperature, you can start
ironing.
STEAM IRONING
▶As indicated on the temperature control and on the iron table, steam
ironing is only possible at higher ironing temperatures: "···" or
"MAX".
▶Make sure there is enough water in the water tank.
▶Set the temperature adjustment knob to the required position within
the steam area.
▶When the iron reaches the selected temperature, you can start
ironing.
▶Push the steam control knob to the required position.
ATTENTION: Never fill the iron with fabric conditioner, starches or
any other solution, as these fills damage the steam mechanism.
Do not use contaminated water. We recommend using distilled or
demineralized water.
ATTENTION: Do not point the iron at your face, yourself or anyone
else while using or adjusting the steam. Burns or serious injury
may occur.
NOTE
• If the soleplate temperature is not high enough, the steam did not
start. (anti-fall function).
STRONG STEAM
▶Make sure the water tank is at least half full with water.
▶When the iron temperature is set to a steam setting (
strong steam can be used.
▶Press the steam burst button, the soleplate will spray strong steam.
ATTENTION: Use the steam button only when the steam iron has
reached the steam temperature or maximum.
▶Do not press this steam burst button more than 3 times at a time.
For optimal steam output, allow an interval of at least four seconds
between pressing the burst of steam button.
