We recommend that you operate the device from a
power outlet with a residual current device (RCD) and
a tripping current of no more than 30 mA for additional
protection. Consult a quali ed electrician for advice.
Only plug the charger into a properly installed power
outlet with a voltage corresponding to the "Technical
data".
Ensure you can easily access the power outlet so that
you can quickly unplug the mains adaptor if necessary.
Fully unwind the charging cable before charging.
Ensure the charging cable cannot be damaged by sharp
edges or hot objects.
Remove the trimmer from the charging tray and unplug
the mains adaptor from the socket:
– when not in use,
– when the battery is fully charged,
– when a noticeable fault occurs during charging
(e.g. smoke, odour, etc.),
– before cleaning, maintaining or packing away the
device,
– during a thunderstorm.
When doing so, always pull on the mains adaptor, not
on the cable.
Do not modify the device. The damaged unit must only
be repaired in a specialist workshop to avoid hazards.
Observe the warranty terms and conditions.
Visually inspect the device before each use. If the device
is damaged, have it repaired in a specialist workshop
before using it again.
RISK of injuries
Never touch the trimmer blade when the device is
switched on.
You must switch o the device when
... you lay it aside to charge it or make a short break
during trimming,
... you attach or remove the comb attachment,
... you are about to lubricate or clean it.
The trimmer blade may get hot a er prolonged use.
