IMPORTANT, RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE:
READ CAREFULLY
● Carefully remove the product and accessories from package. Keep packaging for safe storage.
● Place the product on a flat, stable surface close to a power source. The area surrounding the item should be clear of any obstructions.
● Plug one end of the adapter into the DC jack located at the back of item, and the other end into an electrical outlet.
● The product is operated by the two-way switch at the back of item. Slide the switch to '●' position to activate lights, music and
animation, and turn the switch to '○' position to turn off product. Rotate the dial to adjust the volume of the music.
● Open the backboard and insert 1 AA battery (not included) with correct polarity. See illustration. Adjust the clock to local time by turning
the knob and close the backboard. Replace batteries as they become exhausted. Slide the switch to 'c○○' position, to activate the
figurine in the window and make cuckoo sound, or turn the switch to 'c●●' position to turn off cuckoo sound.
CAUTIONS: BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS
● Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
● Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
● Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
● Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
● Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
● Remove used batteries promptly.
For recycling and disposal of batteries to protect the environment, please check the internet
or your local phone directory for local recycling centers and / or follow local government
regulations.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
If the product is not functioning, check for the following problems:
● The switch is in '○' position.
● The power source is disabled or the cord may be unplugged.
● The moving mechanism may be blocked by debris or an obstruction.
CAUTION:
● When not in use and being packed away, please unplug adapter from DC jack.
● The bulbs of this lighted item cannot be replaced.
