INSTALLATION
Prior to any operation, you must verify the integrity of the product in all its parts, especially the power
cord and plug.
1. Unplug any electrical device connected to the aquarium before putting your hands in water.
2. Mount the silicone pads (F) on the 3 holes on the bottom of the motor cover (E)
3. Attach the pads (F) to the base (G) cavities ensuring they completely fit into them
4. Mount the 4 rubber feet (H) on the bottom of the base (G)
5. Turn in the outlet fitting (A) until its end and attach a 3/4" or 1" rubber pipe to it
6. Submerge the pump in the water of your aquarium sump and ensure it's not touching any side pane.
7. Plug the pump to the power outlet
MAINTENANCE
Keeping the product clean is a good rule to guarantee the constance of maximum performances.
We recommend an inspection and clean at least every 3 months. In case of hard
water or with high presence of residues, we recommend to double the frequency.
1. Unplug any electrical device connected to the aquarium before putting your hands in water.
2. Turn counter-clockwise the locking ring (B) and pull off the chamber cover (C)
3. Extract the rotor (D) by picking it from one of the impeller blade. Important: the rotor shaft is ceramic-
made and it's fragile. Pay attention during its handling to not let it drop off from your hands.
4. Clean all the parts by using a brush soaked in lemon juice or a solution of water and vinegar (do
