Attaching the Anchor Points
Adhesive Pad Method:
1. Select a flat mounting surface, one on either side of rear hatch or trunk opening. Make certain that anchor
points will not interfere with tailgate operation.
2. Remove protective film backing from anchor point and press for one minute against the mounting surface.
3. Do not attempt to re-position anchor points once applied to the mounting surface, as this will cause the
adhesive to no longer hold properly. (Hint: Ideal application temperature is 70 degrees F or higher).
Screw Mounting Method:
1. Select a flat mounting surface, one on either side of rear hatch or trunk opening. Make certain that anchor
points will not interfere with tailgate operation.
2. Mark the desired location for mounting the anchor points and drill a 1/8" diameter hole through the
surface as marked. (Hint: If mounting surface is carpeted, pull back the carpeting before drilling.
3. Using the #10 sheet metal screws and hammer, pierce the thin plastic membrane blocking the hole in the
center of each anchor point.
4. Attach anchor points with #10 screws supplied.
Attaching the Storage Net
1. Fold the storage net in half and place each pair of the net corner loops over each anchor point.
NETS ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR USE AS TAILGATE NETS.
Do NOT stretch cord excessively.
Wear eye protection at all time.
Do not use if cords appear to be frayed.
Stretch cords are not toys, keep out of reach of children at all time.
