tool.
Depress on/off switch (1) and then lock on button (2);
Release on/off switch first and lock-on button second. Your
switch is now locked on for continuous use. To switch off
your tool, just depress and release on/off switch.
5. OPERATION
Wear safety glasses, hearing protection and a dust
protection mask.
Wear protective gloves and sturdy shoes.
Clamp down the workpiece if it does not stay in place
•
owing to its own weight.
Do not load the machine so heavily that it comes to a
•
standstill.
Caution: Diamond Cutting Blades become very hot
during operation; do not touch it until it have cooled
down.
When cutting, do not press, tilt or oscillate. Gently slide it
forward with a speed adapted to the material being worded
on.
Do not brake cutting discs that are slowing down to a stop
by using side pressure.
6. WET-CUTTING
To introduce tap (18) into the indicated for the arrow;
After that to introduce screw through the hole and to incase
not in accordance with the arrow indicates and then tight
the screw (See Fig F).
Screw the hose adapter(19) to the water tap and attach the
hose firmly onto the tap (18)(See Fig G).
7. CUTTING DIRECTION (SEE FIG.H)
Hold the tool firmly. Set the Base Plate (10) on the
workpiece to be cut without the blade making any contact.
Then turn the tool on and wait until the blade attains
full speed. Now simply move the tool forward over the
workpiece surface, keeping it flat and advancing smoothly
until the cutting is completed. Keep your cutting line straight
and your speed of advance uniform.
The cutting direction is very important.
The machine must always run in counterrotation, so push
the machine forwards. Otherwise, the machine mat be
pressed out of the cut in an uncontrolled fashion.
Caution:
This tool should only be used on horizontal surfaces.
•
Be sure to move the tool forward in a straight line and
•
gently. Forcing and exerting excessive pressure or allowing
the wheel to bend, pinch or twist in the cut can cause
overheating of the motor and dangerous kickback of the
tool.
EN
Since excessive cutting may cause overload of the motor,
•
the depth of cut should not be more than 20mm at a pass.
When you wish to cut more than 20mm deep, make a
couple of passes with progressively deeper settings.
MAINTENANCE
Caution: Always be sure that the tool is switched
off and unplugged before attempting to perform
inspection or maintenance.
After use
Blow away dust from the inside of the tool by running the
tool at an idle for a while. Brush off accumulation of dust on
the base. Accumulation of dust in the motor or on the base
may cause a malfunction of the tool.
Lubrication
It's advisable to re-lubricate the transmission system every
second time you replace your carbon brushes, because
grease loses its lubrication properties.
Should the machine fail in spite of careful manufacturing
and testing, its repair should be carried out by an authorized
service agent.
