Warnings
Please read the following warnings and the rest of the
manual carefully before using the appliance.
1. CAUTION: Do not use the hair straightener near
bathtubs, showers, washbasins or other vessels
containing water.
2. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands, in a
damp environment or on wet surfaces. Do not dip into
water or other liquids. If the appliance falls into water,
do not touch the water and unplug it immediately.
3. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
immediately by the manufacturer, an authorised service
agent or a qualified professional only.
4. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces. Do not pull,
twist or coil it around the unit.
5. This appliance must never be left unattended when
plugged in.
6. Use this appliance only for its intended use as
described in this manual.
7. Do not use accessories that have been modified or not
been approved by the manufacturer.
IMPORTANT! Failure to follow all these warnings and instructions may cause irreparable damage to the
product and jeopardize the user's safety.
8. Do not use outdoors or in areas where aerosol
(spray) products are used or where oxygen is
administered.
9. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
10. This appliance becomes hot when in use; do not
allow eyes and bare skin to touch hot surfaces.
11. For additional protection, the installation of
a residual current device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30
mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bath is
recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
12. IMPORTANT! Cleaning and maintenance of
the hair straightener must not be carried
out by children without supervision. This
appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children should not play
with the hair straightener.
