6. Installation
This equipment may only be installed by a qualified technician who is familiar with the installation, monitoring and
maintenance of this type of equipment, and uses suitable tools.
Mechanical
•
To ensure safe operation, the equipment must be firmly fixed.
•
The curtain must be installed on a flat, solid vertical surface, so that the curtain remains free of vibrations that
could produce noise.
•
Install the curtain on the interior side of the room.
•
To secure the curtain to the wall:
o
The support frame (Fig.1) must be installed first.
o
Make holes in the wall following the diagram in figure 2, and screw the support frame to the wall.

Adjust the deflectors (Fig.3) to optimize the airflow direction.
o
•
Adhere to the maximum installation height. Otherwise, the efficiency of the curtain will be diminished.
•
The air outlet of the curtain should always remain on the lower part of the same, blowing downward.
•
Choose the type and number of curtain so that the total width of the same exceeds the width of the opening to be
covered + 40 mm.
•
The distance between the upper part of the curtain and the ceiling should be no less than 30 mm.
•
Use a spirit level to bring the curtain level with the floor.
Electrical
•
Check if the equipment is connected to the power source in accordance with the instructions on the connection
diagram in this document (Fig.4, 5 and 6).
•
Select a power cable with a suitable cross-section for the current used by the equipment.
•
An external protective component must be connected (a relay, magneto-thermal protection system or fuse),in
accordance with current regulations.
•
The equipment's earth connection must be connected.
•
The electrical schematics on the product take priority over those presented in this manual.
Start-up
•
After starting up the motor, it is important to check that the motor is turning correctly, without vibrations or unusual
noises.
•
Carry out the following checks prior to operating the device
o
Check that the air curtain is firmly secured to the wall
Check that there is no dirt, objects or tools on the unit, which could cause it harm.
o
•
A check must be made to ensure that the motor's actual power consumption does not exceed the level stated on
the equipment's label and that it does not heat up excessively.
•
The machine must not be switched on and off intermittently, as this could damage the winding of the motor or the
insulation, due to overheating.
7. Maintenance
Maintenance must be performed by qualified technicians.
• The manufacturer recommends that the air curtain is thoroughly cleaned and serviced following six months of usage.
• Care must be taken when cleaning the impeller, in order not to affect its balance.
• It is not advisable to use chemical cleaners or aggressive substances, as they could damage the equipment.
• If a part must be replaced, consult the distributor.
8. Disposal
Careless or negligent disposal of the equipment may cause contamination. The disposal process must be carried out in
compliance with the standards and regulations applicable in that country.
9. Warranty
Incorrect use of the equipment and failure to observe the instructions in this manual may result in cancellation of the warranty.
