INSTALLATION
Before starting installation, follow the general warnings. Furthermore:
• Check the WLL of the accessory to verify if the capacity is correct.
Only after completion of preliminary checks, the accessory can be connected to the beam and the following tests performed:
• The beam the clamp must be installed onto and the framework in general must be stable enough to be able to be loaded safely.
• Before each job, check the accessory for visual defects and failures (e.g. deformation, cracking, wear and corrosion on the clamp,
eye, connected unit and framework).
• Check that the connected unit is undamaged and operates correctly; please refer to the relevant operation and maintenance
manual.
After successfully completing these checks, place the load in position and ensure that:
• The connecting device of the load sits fully in the loading hook and the latch can be completely closed.
• The load on the accessory is free to align itself with its anchoring point.
OPERATIONS
Clamp installation on beam
To install the clamp onto the beam, unscrew the adjusting screw, so that the jaws open, thereby allowing the beam flanges to pass
in between. Then rotate the adjusting screw in the opposite direction, to bring them close to each other, and fix the clamp to the
beam (s. fig. 2 and fig. 3).
Check that the jaws of the lamp are completely closed on the beam, and that the adjusting screw is tight, before connecting
the lifting unit.
The anchor eye must be standing.
