R2 ALARM
Insert Battery:
Open battery compartment using crosshead screwdriver
and insert 1 x CR2 battery (not supplied). We recommend
purchasing top quality alkaline batteries for enhanced
performance and lifespan.
To Turn R2 Head On/Off:
Press & hold the Power button for 3 seconds. When
turning on the alarm LEDs will light green and the alarm
will sound a series of fast beeps rising in tone. When
turning the alarm off the LEDs will light red and the
alarm will sound a series of fast beeps decreasing in
tone.
Volume:
Short press of the Function (X) button. Four volume
settings are available. Each consecutive short press of
the X button changes volume output by one level. The
first bleep you hear represents current volume, each
consecutive bleep the volume being set.
Tone:
Hold down Power button and short press the Function (X)
button. Five tone settings are available. Each consecutive
short press of the X button changes the tone. The first
tone you hear represents current tone, each consecutive
bleep the tone being set.
Muting:
Muting: To mute an R2 alarm short press the power
button and the LED will flash. To restore volume short
press the power again the LED will flash and a bleep will
be heard.
Sensitivity
A Siren R2 has six levels of sensitivity, triggered by
varying line movement across the roller. To adjust
sensitivity long press the X Button. The number of bleeps
heard represents the sensitivity level being selected.

Sensitivity/Line Movement Settings
• Level 1 (One Beep)
• Level 2 (Two Beeps)
• Level 3 (Three Beeps) 55mm
• Level 4 (Four Beeps)
• Level 5 (Five Beeps)
• Level 6 (Six Beeps)
LED Colour:
Press and hold the Function (X) button, then short press
the Power button. There are five LED colour options
available. The LEDs will cycle through lighting at each
colour. The first press represents the current setting.
Release the Function (X) button to set the selected colour.
LED colour options are:
Red > Blue > White > Green > Purple
Low Battery Warning:
The R2 alarm continually self-diagnoses battery power
whilst switched on. Low power warning is five short
bleeps when it is turned on and then every 30 minutes
ten short bleeps will be heard. Replace the battery as
soon as possible. When the battery is too low to function
correctly the alarm automatically switches itself off.
R2 RECEIVER:

To Turn R2 Receiver On/Off:
Turn the Power/Volume dial anti-clockwise with the
R2 Receiver facing towards you. A click will be felt as
the Receiver is switched on and the LEDs will light
sequentially from left to right. To switch the Receiver
off turn the Power/Volume dial clockwise with the R2
Receiver facing towards you. A click will be felt as it
turns off.
