be supplied with emergency power by V-mount batteries.
» The two left V-Mount batteries serve as DC sources for the left XLR-4P output,
the two right V-Mount batteries serve as DC sources for the right XLR-4P out-
put. The charging current is 2×3A=6A.
» The charging process is controlled by an MCU (Micro Controller Unit).
Inbetriebnahme
Connect the V-Mount Speed Charger to a suitable power source (AC) and switch
the power switch to ON. The AC power LED lights red.
» Insert the V-Mount batteries, make sure the V-Mount battery release lever is
LEDs (CHARGING) light up red, the V-Mount battery is charging. When the V-
Mount battery is 85% charged, the charging status LED lights up green. When
the battery is 100% charged, the charging status LED goes out.
» It is normal for the V-Mount batteries and the V-Mount Speed Charger to get
warm during charging. Place the V-Mount Speed Charger in a well-ventilated
place and do not cover the ventilation outlets to ensure heat dissipation.

Connect a suitable XLR-4P cable to one of the XLR-4P connectors to supply
direct current (DC) power to ENG (Electronic news-gathering) devices such as
cameras and portable VTRs (Video Tape Recorders). The nominal voltage is
max. 99W (16.5V 6A).
» If an XLR-4P cable is connected to the XLR-4-P output, charging will stop. The
V-Mount batteries can be removed, the supply (DC) of the XLR-4P connection
is not interrupted.
» If no AC source is connected, the XLR-4P (DC) outputs are powered by the V-
Mount batteries. The discharging status LED (DISCHARGING) lights up.
If no supply (DC) can be established through the XLR-4P connections, please
make sure that:

The V-Mount Speed Charger is properly powered and powered ON if connec-
ted to AC power.
