The device has been investigated for Class I, Division 2 Groups A, B, C, D/Class I, Zone 2, Groups IIC Hazardous Locations and should meet the following
conditions for safe use when installed in these hazardous locations:
• The equipment shall only be used in an area of not more than pollution degree 2, as defined in IEC/EN 60664-1.
• The equipment shall only be used in an enclosure that provides a degree of protection not less than IP54 in accordance with IEC/EN 60079-0.
• The operating temperature class (T-code) of this device is T4.

• Install the unit in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment.
• Do not place the unit close to heat-emitting sources. To allow proper ventilation do not block or cover the top and bottom sides of the unit.
• Ensure the module is properly installed on a DIN rail.

• Do not remove the cover, as this device has no user-serviceable parts inside.
• To turn OFF the device, disconnect the input cable from the SDN-D power supply.
