Operation
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not
touch the appliance during and / or immediately after operation.
1. Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface. Do not place it on top of a metal surface.
2. Fill the foods which you wish to reheat in a pot/pan and place it in the middle of the hotplate (2/5). Make
sure that there are no foreign objects on the hotplate (2/5), e.g. food leftovers, water.
3. Connect the appliance to a properly installed wall socket and turn the hotplate (2/5) on by turning the
temperature control knob (3/7) to the desired level. The indicator light (4/6) lights up.
4. Only use pots/pans with the correct diameter.
5. After the appliance is switched off there is still some remaining heat, this heat could be used for keeping
the foods warm.
Hot surface, danger of serious burns!
In order to properly switch off the appliance, the power cord must be disconnected from the mains after
each use. It is not enough to turn the temperature control knob (3/7) to the MIN-Position.
Temperature control knob/Thermostat:
During operation, an integrated thermostat switches the appliance on and off to ensure a constant
temperature. This is indicated by the indicator light (4/6) cycling on and off.
Cleaning and Care
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the mains and let it completely cool
down. Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock!
Clean the housing (1) and the plate (2/5) with a moistened soft cloth.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other hard objects to clean the appliance.
After using the appliance for a period of time it is recommended to clean the hotplate (2/5) with a special
cleaning agent.
Storage
Disconnect the appliance from the mains after each use and let it completely cool down.
Keep the appliance away from children and store it in a clean and dry place.
