Engine not stopping
1.
2.
Cause
Tank is empty
Engine is flooded
Spark plug is dirty (carbon remains on
electrodes). Too big distance between
electrodes.
Carburettor is dirty, carburettor
nozzles are dirty.
Plug connection is defective, spark-
plug cable is defective
No ignition spark
Cold engine
Spark plug is dirty (carbon remains on
electrodes). Too big distance between
electrodes.
Carburettor is dirty, carburettor
nozzles are dirty.
Air filter is dirty
Exhaust, cylinder exhaust port
Untight gasket in the engine case
Worn-out cylinder, piston/piston rings
Wrong fuel mixture (too much oil)
Defective ignition
Light grey spark plug is worn (melt
drops)
Carbon remains in the combustion
space
1.
Full tank to be filled up
2.
Ease up on the gas, start a couple of times, remove
the spark plug if necessary, clean and dry it
3.
Clean the spark plug, check the spark thermal value
and replace it if necessary, adjust 0.6-0.7 mm
4.
Clean or blow the carburettor
5.
Replace it
6.
Check the short-circuiting button, cable and ignition
module and replace them if necessary, adjust the
distance (0.3-0.4 mm).
1.
Warm up slowly or turn down the choke a little bit.
1.
Clean the spark plug, check the spark thermal value
and replace it if necessary, adjust 0.6-0.7 mm
2.
Clean or blow the carburettor
3.
Clean it
4.
Remove and clean the exhaust, remove any carbon
remains.
5.
Replace it
6.
Replace the cylinder, piston or piston rings; cylinder
needs to be ground down, fit in a bigger piston.
7.
Fill up as instructed
8.
Adjust the ignition module distance (0.3-0.4 mm)
1.
Fit a higher thermal value spark plug
2.
Clean the cylinder head, piston top and cylinder
channels.
