OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure the lights, stereo, air conditioner, and all other accessories on
both vehicles are turned off.
2. Connect the black DC plug to the vehicle with the functioning battery.
3. Connect the red DC plug to the vehicle with the dead battery.
4. Turn the ignition lock of the dead vehicle to the "ACCESSORY" position.
5. Start the engine of the vehicle with the functioning battery; the green
"POWER" LED will turn on.
6. After a period of about 25 minutes, when the red "CHARGING" LED turns
to green, unplug the red DC plug from the dead vehicle.
7.
Start the engine of the dead vehicle.
8. Remove the black DC plug.
9. Allow the engine on the "just-started" vehicle to warm up to operating
temperature before driving.
No recharging system will help a battery that is depleted, shorted internally, or
malfunctioning. Under such condition, replace the battery.
