This submersible pump does not require any maintenance,
however, if the pump is installed permanently, it should be
checked regularly to ensure that it is kept in perfect working
order and has a long lifespan.
Every 3 months:
▪ Check that the float switch is operational;
▪ Clean the pump and float switch (1), using running
water;
▪ Clean the suction area of the pump, remove the mud
accumulated at the bottom and clean the walls if
necessary.
When using the pump as a portable pump, clean it with
running water after each use.
Before cleaning your pump, ensure it is unplugged.
In the event an impeller gets blocked due to the
accumulation of debris, wires or fibers, remove the suction
base and clean the inside of the pump.
1. Loosen the screws, and remove the suction base;
2. Clean the impeller and impeller chamber with running
water;
3. Replace the suction base. Tighten the screws.
For your own safety, if either the impeller or electrical parts
of the pump (power cord or plug and switch) need to be
repaired, these operations should only be performed by
qualified technicians.
Once the pump and its accessories have been cleaned,
store the pump in a stable, safe position, in a dry and mild
place. Avoid storing it in temperatures that are either too
high or too low. The ideal temperature at which to store the
pump is between 5 and 30°C.
Protect the pump from direct sunlight. If possible, keep the
water pump in a dark place.
Do not store the pump in plastic bags, as they could create
moisture. Store your power tool in its original packaging.
Keep away from children.
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials,
which you can dispose on local recycling points.
Never dispose of power tools with your household
waste!
According to the European Directive 2012/19/EC on
electrical and electronic equipment waste, power tools
must be collected separately and delivered to the collection
sites provided for this purpose.
You can obtain information regarding the disposal of used
appliances from the legal responsible for recycling in your
town.
