OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
In the picture below you will find an explanation of the different (touch) buttons and displays.
1. Set time (timer)
Press this button to set the
drying time.
2. Set temperature
Press this button to set the
drying temperature.
3. Timer display
Displays the set drying time.
Counts down to zero.
4. Reduce value
Reduces the selected setting
(temperature or time).
5. Increase value
Lowers the selected setting
(temperature or time).
6. On / Off
Start or stop the programme.
IMPORTANT: PREPARE FOR FIRST USE
Before drying food for the first time, switch the empty appliance on for at least 1 hour at maximum
temperature. It is normal to see some white smoke during this process.
1. Connect the device to a power source
2. Set the temperature to 70°C
3. Set the timer for at least 1 hour
4. Allow the appliance to heat up for at least 1 hour at 70°C
5. It is normal to see white smoke.
6. The appliance is now ready to dry food.
Switch the appliance on at the highest temperature for 1 hour.
It is normal to see some white smoke during this process.
After this you can use the device normally.
GENERAL TIPS FOR USE
•
The distribution of heat in the appliance is influenced by the filling of the appliance. Bear in
mind that air needs to be able to move around and the more that is placed on a drying
drawer, the less the air can circulate.
•
Fruit with the highest water content should be placed on the bottom drying drawer.
