• Do not use the appliance if the main cord,
the plug, the light or the appliance itself
shows visible damage, if the appliance has
been dropped or if it is leaking.
• Do not touch the heating parts to avoid
burns.
• To protect against the risk of electric shock,
never immerse the appliance in water or oth-
er liquids. If this has happened, discontinue
the use of the appliance and dispose of it.
The appliance must not be used in the vicinity
of water or placed in water (e.g. washbasin,
shower, bathtub) – risk of electric shock!
• The use of any accessory not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause personal in-
jury or damage the appliance.
• Do not let the cord hang over edges or hot
surfaces.
• Burns may occur from touching hot metal
parts, hot water, or steam.
• Do not use the appliance if there is not
enough water in the water tank.
• Before switching on the device, make sure
the heating elements do not touch the sur-
face of the power cord or other objects.
• Never leave the appliance unattended.

• Always pull the plug to unplug the device.
Do not pull the cord.
• Make sure the device completely cools down
before storage.
• Do not use the appliance for any other than
its intended use.
• Do not use it outdoors.
• The appliance must be switched off and
cooled down completely before being disas-
sembled to avoid scalds.
• To reduce the risk of contact with hot water
emitted from the steam vents, check the ap-
pliance before each use. Hold it away from
your body and press the steam button.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while
plugged or hot.
• Do not turn the steam towards people or an-
imals, and do not apply it to clothes that are
being worn.
• Do not use your bare hand as a supporting
surface when steaming. Pull the sides of the
garment to stretch it.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
