Description
Automatic piston compressor mounted on an air container. A relief valve operated by the air
pressure switch ensures that the compressor always starts to operate without any load (without
air pressure between the air container and compressor device).
Device equipped with an automatic protector
This compressor is designed for an intermittance running, as a result the loading level shall not
exceed 50% .
The air pressure switch is adjusted for P = 6-8 bars.
Note! The electric engine is equipped with an automatic protector, which activates when the
engine temperature reaches its maximal value. In case of protector tripping, it will automatically
reset within approx. 15 min, and the compressor can be switched on again.
Installation
Electricity:
Always connect to a grounded electrical outlet and pay attention that the electrical line has
appropriate fuses.
Look for the required parameters in the product data plate.
Motor isolation class is IP 20.
If a long cable extension is used, its diameter shall be also sized on the voltage loss.
Install the compressor in a dry, cool (temperature range 4° C-40° C) and well ventilated
environment with as clean air as possible.
Before switching
• The necessary pressure has to be adjusted with regulator (No 5).
• Compressor management system operates completely automatically. The air pressure switch
stops the engine when the pressure has reached the max adjusted level. When the pressure
decrease to the minimum setting, the engine will automatically switch on again.
• The air pressure switch (No 4) has an on/off knob to be operated manually, which provides an
opportunity to switch off the engine and open the air exhaust valve completely (No 4) at any
time.
• Never stop the compressor by taking out the plug from the electrical socket in the wall. Always
use the on/off function of the pressure switch in order to release the high-pressure pipe from air
pressure, which is located between the compressor and the container.
