1. Disconnect the building-side connecting
cable from the power supply and secure it
against being switched on again. To do
this, trip the corresponding circuit breaker
of the house installation.
2. The surface for mounting the luminaire
must be level. Use the holes provided for
the screws on the lamp socket to mark the
drill holes.
3. Drill two holes (hole spacing 58 mm) in
the wall according to your marking. Sink
suitable dowels (1) into the holes and
make sure that they are flush with the wall.
4. Open the light by pushing the pin (2)
down and turning the threaded ring (3)
counterclockwise out of the light. Carefully
lay this and the contact disc (4) underneath
to one side.
5. Feed the connection cable through the
light (5). Now align the lamp socket with
the drill holes and screw it on hand-tight
with two screws (6).
6. Connect the cores of the light to the
contact disc (3) according to "Figure 1".
Put them back into the light (5).
7. Now screw the threaded ring (3) onto
the light (5). The pin (2) should now fix it in
place. If this is not the case, take the
threaded ring (3) out of the light (5) again,
bend the pin (2) upwards and screw the
threaded ring (3) in again.
8. The installation is now complete. To put
the lamp into operation, choose any E27
bulb and insert it into the porcelain socket.
