4.1 Applicable regulations and directives
In order to satisfy safety standards for users, Moretti S.p.A. complies with the following standards:

- EN 60601-1-2:2006.
5. GENERAL WARNINGS
WARNING!
After using the scooter even for a short distance, do not touch the engine: risk of burns
from overheating.
WARNING!
Take extreme care in the presence of moving parts that could trap limbs and cause
injury.
• Please consult this manual carefully for correct use of the device.
• Always consult your doctor or therapist for correct use of the device.
• Keep the packaged product away from sources of heat, as the packaging is cardboard.
• The lifetime of the device depends on wear and tear of non-repairable and/or non-replaceable
parts.
• Always take care when children are present.
• Maximum user weight: 158 kg.
• Classification: class B (EN 12184).
• The product is not suitable for the visually impaired.
• The device must not be used by children under 12 years of age.
• The scooter is not designed for use as a seat in a motor vehicle.
• The user and/or the patient will have to report any serious accident that have occurred
related the device to the manufacturer and appropriate authority of the State which the
user and/or patient belongs to.
