Storage
CAUTION
Pull out the mains plug, vent the device and all
connected pneumatic tools. Shut down the
compressor in such a way that unauthorised
persons cannot operate it

Releasing the excess pressure
Release the excess pressure in the compressor by turning off the compressor and using up the
compressed air still in the pressure vessel, e.g.

Cause
Vessel pressure is greater than
switch-on pressure
Faulty power supply
Power supply not available
Power supply too low
Defective pressure switch
Carbon brushes worn out
Ambient temperature too low
Motor is overheating
Impeller cannot rotate due to
piston seizure
Defective capacitor
Check valve leaking
Cylinder head gasket leaking
Check for any leaks in
connections and/or lines.
NOTICE
Only store the compressor in a dry environment.
Do not tilt it only store it upright!
Solution
Release the pressure from the vessel
until the pressure switch switches on
automatically
Have the power supply checked by
qualified personnel
Check the cable, mains plug, fuse and
socket
Avoid extension cables that are too long.
Use an extension cable with a sufficient
core cross-section
Have the pressure switch replaced by
qualified personnel
Replace carbon brushes
Do not operate the device at outside
temperatures of below +5°C
Allow the motor to cool down and
eliminate the cause of the overheating if
necessary
Contact qualified personnel
Have the capacitor replaced by qualified
personnel
Unscrew the check valve hex head,
clean/replace the seat and rubber
plunger and reinstall
Check for damaged cylinder head
gasket and, if necessary, ensure proper
functioning of the gasket by tightening
the screws
Check connections, have broken seals
replaced at a specialist workshop
