DIRECT WIRING CHARGER BASE INTO A VEHICLE
WARNING: CHARGER INPUT: 12 VDC MAX. MODIFYING A CIGARETTE LIGHTER
PLUG-IN DC ADAPTER CORD WILL VOID YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY.
12V PASSENGER VEHICLE / LIGHT TRUCK INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to modify your vehicle's wiring, remove the negative
battery clamp and secure it.
y Connect red positive wire (labeled +) of 5 bank charger, to a fused (3A), (12-24 VDC)
positive power source, either directly to the battery for constant charging, or fuse panel
for ignition switch-operated power. (Recommend a 3A inline fuse between either the fuse
panel or direct battery power connection and the 5-bank charger).
y Connect black wire of 5 bank charger (labeled -) to a ground wire or chassis ground.
Note: Direct battery connection will provide constant charging for your light but should
only be used in combination with a supplemental vehicle trickle charger / shore power
connection. Failure to provide this supplemental vehicle charging source could result in
draining the main vehicle battery.
12V+ COMMERCIAL VEHICLE / APPARATUS INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to modify your vehicle's wiring, remove the
negative battery clamp and secure it.
y Connect red wire of 5 bank charger direct-wire adapter to a fused (3A) positive power
source (12-24 VDC), either directly to a battery connection for constant charging, or fuse
panel (3A or greater) for ignition switch-operated power. (Recommend a 3A inline fuse
between either the fuse panel or direct battery power connection and the 5-bank charger).
y Connect black wire to a ground wire or chassis ground.
Note: Direct battery connection will provide constant charging for your light but should
only be used in combination with a supplemental vehicle trickle charger / shore power
connection. Failure to provide this supplemental charging source could result in draining the
main vehicle battery
MOUNTING THE CHARGER
WARNING: While the light is certified as an Intrinsically Safe product, the charger is NOT
Intrinsically Safe. The charger MUST be installed in a location far enough outside of the
hazardous environment to ensure that it can never come in contact with any potentially
explosive materials.
The Nightstick 5568-CHGRDC5 bank charger is designed to mount to any flat, dry
surface however special mounting requirements may require different hardware. 1/2" lag
bolts, masonry bolts, or wood screws are recommended to mount the charger depending on
what type of surface you are mounting to.
y Select a location to install the charger making sure to check what is on the other side of
the mounting surface...no electrical wires, water lines, etc.
y Check to make sure that the cord will reach the 12v DC power outlet when it is plugged in.
y Once the charger has been mounted, plug the cord into the power outlet.
y The charger is now ready to use.
PLACING THE ANGLE LIGHT INTO THE CHARGER
The Nightstick 5568-CHGRDC5 is designed to securely hold a properly installed
Angle Light in place under conditions up to and including 9g of lateral force meeting the
requirements of NFPA 1901 (2009).
WARNING: Installing the Angle Light into the charger MUST be done using the
following steps. Failure to do so could damage the charger or its ability to hold the
Angle Light securely in place.
The spring-loaded tab located on the bottom of the charger, is designed to hold the
bottom base of the Angle Light securely in place.

y Firmly grip the Angle Light in one hand and press the bottom of the Angle Light base
downward onto the black spring-loaded tab and then push the base of the Angle Light
forward into the charger until it slips past the spring-loaded tab and snaps into the charger.
Confirmation of proper installation can be seen in the LED Charge Indicator Light. When
the Angle Light is properly installed in the charger, and power is being supplied by the
Nightstick AC or DC Power Supply, the LED Charge Indicator Light on the charger will light
up constant RED indicating that the unit is being charged.
REMOVING THE ANGLE LIGHT FROM THE CHARGER
y Firmly grip the Angle Light and pull straight back from the charging cradle.
y The light has now been safely removed from the charger and is ready to use.
WARRANTY
2 YEAR WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and
materials to the original purchaser for 2 years from the date of purchase, and includes the
LEDs, housing, lenses, electronics, switches, rechargeable batteries and chargers. Bulbs
(other than LEDs) are covered for 90 days from the date of purchase.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the
only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose.

INSTALLATION DANS UNE VOITURE/ CAMIONNETTE 12 V
IMPORTANT : Avant de tenter de modifier le câblage de votre véhicule, retirez la pince
de batterie négative et sécurisez-la.
y Connectez le fil positif rouge (étiqueté +) du chargeur à 5 bancs à une source
d'alimentation positive à fusible (3A), (12-24 Vcc), soit directement à la batterie pour
une charge constante, soit au panneau de fusibles pour l'alimentation actionnée par le
commutateur d'allumage. (Recommandez un fusible en ligne de 3 A entre le panneau de
fusibles ou la connexion d'alimentation directe de la batterie et le chargeur à 5 bancs).
y Connectez le fil noir du chargeur à 5 bancs (étiqueté -) à un fil de terre ou à la terre du
châssis.
Remarque : La connexion directe à la batterie assurera une charge constante de votre
phare, mais elle ne doit être utilisée qu'avec un chargeur de maintien du véhicule ou une
connexion d'alimentation à quai supplémentaire. Si vous ne fournissez pas cette source de
charge supplémentaire au véhicule, vous risquez de vider la batterie principale du véhicule.
INSTALLATION SUR VÉHICULE COMMERCIAL/ENGIN 12 V+
IMPORTANT : Avant de tenter de modifier le câblage de votre véhicule, retirez la pince
de batterie négative et sécurisez-la.
y Connectez le fil rouge de l'adaptateur à fil direct du chargeur à 5 bancs à une source
d'alimentation positive à fusible (3 A) (12-24 VDC), soit directement à une connexion de
batterie pour une charge constante, soit à un panneau de fusibles (3 A ou plus) pour un
interrupteur d'allumage. Puissance. (Recommandez un fusible en ligne de 3 A entre le
panneau de fusibles ou la connexion d'alimentation directe de la batterie et le chargeur
à 5 bancs).
y Connectez le fil noir à un fil de terre ou à la terre du châssis.
Remarque : La connexion directe à la batterie assurera une charge constante de votre
phare, mais elle ne doit être utilisée qu'avec un chargeur de maintien du véhicule ou une
connexion d'alimentation à quai supplémentaire. Si vous ne fournissez pas cette source de
