Rechargeable battery
Charging the battery
For charging, use the recommended USB power supply unit or a power supply unit
u
with 5 V and at least 1.0 A. Observe the operating manual of the USB power supply
unit.
Recommended power supply unit: See "Technical Data" section.
Pay attention to the mains voltage. The voltage of the power source must match the
u
voltage specified on the rating plate of the power adaptor. Power adaptors marked
with 230 V can also be operated with 220 V.
Note: Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are supplied partially charged according to in-
ternational transport regulations. To ensure full rechargeable battery capacity, fully
charge the rechargeable battery before using your tool for the first time.
– Use a USB cable to connect the power tool to the power supply.
– Plug the power supply into a plug socket.
The charging process will begin. The battery charge indicator lights up green. When the
battery is fully charged, the battery charge indicator goes out.
If you are not planning to use the power tool again soon, disconnect it from the power

The power tool must not be used during the charging process.
