Please read and follow these instructions carefully
before using your unit
WARNING
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this
appliance to rain or moisture. To avoid electrical shock,
do not open the cabinet, refer servicing to qualified
personnel only.
CAUTION
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein may result
in hazardous radiation exposure.
DANGER
Invisible laser radiation when open and interlock failed or
defeated. Avoid direct exposure to beam.
This compact disc player is classified as a CLASS 1
LASER PRODUCT.
THE CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT label is located on the
rear exterior.
SURFACE TO BE PLACED
•
Put the product on a location with flat surface.
•
Ventilation: The product should be placed at a
location with sufficient ventilation around so that the
product has an enough ventilated space. A space
of greater than 10cm at the top and the back, and
greater than 5cm at both sides should be left for the
product.
•
Do not place the product on the surface of the bed,
woolen blanket or the similar objects, since these
surfaces may impede ventilation.
•
Do not place the product on the surface in the
bookcase, the cupboard or the hermetic sealing
frame, since these may impede ventilation.
CAUTION:
•
Do not let the substance or liquid enter the player
from the vent.
•
The power cord should be placed at a fixed status to
avoid twist standing or trample. Do not use AC power
socket with too thin and elongated electric, wires
since too heavy a load for the socket may cause fire
or electrical shock accident.

POWER SUPPLY
BATTERY OPERATION
1. Remove the Battery Compartment Cover by gently
pushing the clips downward and outwards.
2. Install 6 x ‚C' size batteries (UM-2 or equivalent) and
take care that the correct polarities are observed.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
NOTE:
•
The AC line cord must be removed for battery
operation.
•
To avoid damage which may result from leaking
batteries, remove the batteries when they become
exhausted or when the unit is not to be used for a
long period of time.
AC MAINS OPERATION
1. Before making any connections, check that the
voltage marked on the rating plate of the unit
corresponds with your household supply.
2. Insert the AC line cord plug into the AC INPUT
SOCKET of the unit and plug the other end of the
cord into a standard household supply outlet.
NOTE:
1. Do not plug or unplug the power cable while you
have wet hands.
2. When planning not to use this unit for a long time,
disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet.
3. When disconnecting the power cord from the wall
outlet, do not pull on the cord in order to avoid shock
risks caused by damaged cable.
To be completely disconnected the power input, the
mains plug of apparatus shall be disconnected from the
mains completely.
•
The main plug of apparatus should not be obstructed
or should be easily accessed during intended use.
•
The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
•
Attention should be drawn to the environmental
aspects of battery disposal.
•
Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine, f"lre or the like.
•
The marking information is located at the bottom of
apparatus.
•
Excessive sound pressure from earphones and
headphones can cause hearing loss.
Replace the batteries in battery compar1ment when all
the broadcast sounds change into noise, the sound is
diminishing and starting to be with distortion, and the CD
is incapable to read a disc.
Note: Do not mix the batteries of different types, or use
the old battery and the new battery together. Never
charge the battery or heat the battery or break the battery.
AC power operation
Insert one end of the AC power cord to the input jack of
AC socket, another end is plugged into the city mains.

For dual voltageversion,make sure thatthe ACvoltage
selector (located on the bottom battery compartment of
the unit) is switched to your local voltage. (optional) (You
can only use the AC power cord provided together with
the player, using other types of power cords may cause
fire or electric shock.)
***After the player is connected to the power, the
function switch is pushed to „ON" location and the power
indicator will be normally lit. When the function switch is
pushed to „OFF", cutting originally the power supply of
the player and the indicator will not be lit at this time.
AUX IN
This player can be used as amplifier for your audio
device. Connect your other audio device output jack with
this unit's Aux in jack by a 3.5mm audio cable then put
the function switch to Aux in position then this player will
play out your input audio signal.
ST. PHONE JACK
For private listening,inserta 3.5mm headphoneinto
the ST.PHONE JACK. The SPEAKER output is
automatiocallycut off.

RADIO OPERATION
1. Set FUNCTION SWITCH to "RADIO" position.
2. Put the band switch to the band you want to listen.
3. Adjustthe volume to satisfactroylevel by volume
knob.
4. Rotate the tuning knob to select the program you like.
For better reception of AM station program, you may
need to adjustthe direction of the player.to acquire
the best reception effect.
5. If the FM station program you listen is stereo, the
stereo indicator light will be lit on.
CD/MP3 PLAYER
PLAYING AUDIO CDS
1. Set the Function Switch to CD/MP3 position.
2. Insert a CD disc in the CD compartment and close
the CD door, the unit will start reading the disc, it will
show the total number of tracks of the entire disc
after reading.
3. Press the Play/Pause Button to start playing the disc.
4. During playing, press the Play/Pause Button to
temporarily pause playing. To resume, press the
Play/Pause button again.
PLAYING MP3 DISCS
1. Set the Function Switch to CD/MP3 position.
2. Insert a MP3 disc into the CD Compartment and
close the door, the unit will start reading the disc, it
will show the total number of songs of the entire disc
after reading.
3. Press the Play/Pause Button to start playing the disc.
4. Press the Folder Up or Folder Down Button to select
the folder you want to listen.
5. During playing, press the Play/Pause Button to
temporarily pause playing. To resume, press the
Play/Pause Button again.
During the playback process, press the" REPEAT I
PROG „button, the unit will play in repeat one/ all,
random, repeat folder or turn off repeat function.
To set program play, stop the playback first, then press
PROG key, press Next or Previous key to select your
desired song and press PROG again to confirm.keep
select your next desired song by doing so. Press play to
play.Press stop button twice to cancel program playback.
USB AND CARD
1. Putthe function switch button to" USB/Card!CD/MP3/
AUX" place.
2. Insert the USB or SD/MMC card storage into the
USB port or Card slot, press CD/MP3/USB/Card
button to enter the USB or Card playback status,
then the player will automatically play the files in your
storage device, the LCDwill display"USB" or"Card".
3. Whenyou wantto stop the playback of the files ofyour
storage device, please press Stop button.
4. 0ther operation is similar to CD function.
Note: When the player is powered on, press the button
CD/MP3/USB/Card, you can choose different functions,
the sequence is: CD/MP3 disc >USB> Card.
Important: The USB portis intended only for data
transferonly,otherdevices cannot be used with this USB
connection. The use of USB extension cords is not
recommended.
COMPACT DISC MAINTENANCE
1. Always use a compact disc bearing the mark as
shown.
2. Notes on handling discs
•
Removing the disc from its storage case and loading
it.
•
Do not touch the reflective recorded surface.
•
Do not stick paper or write anything on the surface.
•
Do not bend the disc.
3. Storage
•
Store the disc in its case.
•
Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high
temperatures, high humidity or dusty places.
4. Cleaning a disc
•
Should the disc become soiled, wipe off dust, dirt and
fingerprints with a soft cloth.
•
The disc should be cleaned from the center to the
edge.

Never use benzene, thinners, record cleaner fluid or
anti-static spray.
•
Be sure to close the CD door, so the lens is not
contaminated by dust.
•
Never touch the CD pickup and lens. If fingerprints
get on the pickup lens, clean it gently with a
commercial lens cleaner.
