UNPACKING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION! Immediately upon receiving the product, carefully unpack the carton, check the contents to ensure that all parts are
present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packing material for inspection if
any parts appear damage from shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packing
materials. In the event that the product must be returned to the factory, it is important that the product be returned in the original
factory box and packing.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The
arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
CONTROL ELEMENTS
1. USB Input: Connect your USB devices to this slot to play music with
MP3-format.
2. SD/MMC Input: Connect your SD/MMC devices to this slot to play
music with MP3-format.
3. Master Volume: Turn to adjust the "master volume" (output level) of
the soundbox.
4. Microphone Input 1: 6.3mm (1/4") jack for connecting microphones.
5. Microphone Input 2: 6.3mm (1/4") jack for connecting microphones.
6. Microphone Volume: Turn to adjust the microphone volume.
7. Microphone Echo: Turn to adjust the microphone echo.
8. Equalizer: Press to adjust the bass and treble.
9. Previous: Press shortly to start the previous song, hold for 3 seconds
to rewind.
10. Next : Press shortly to skip to the next song, hold for 3 seconds to fast forward.
11. Mode: Press to select USB-/SD-/BT- or Line input.
12. Play/Pause: Press to (re)start or pause playback
13. Mute: Press the button to mute the volume, and press the button again to restore the volume.
14. LED Switch: Use to switch on/off the LED light show.
15. AUX Input: 3.5mm auxiliary input jack.
16. Power Adapter Input: Connector for inserting the supplied power adapter.
17. Power ON/OFF Switch: Use to turn the device on/off.
REMOTE CONTROL
1. Power ON/OFF: Use to turn the device on/off.
2. Mode: Press to select USB-/SD-/BT- or Line input.
3. Mute: Press the button to mute the volume, and press the button again to restore the volume.
4. Equalizer: Press to adjust the bass and treble.
5. Volume +: Press to increase the volume level.
6. Previous: Press shortly to start the previous song, hold for 3 seconds to rewind.
7. Play/Pause: Press to (re)start or pause playback.
8. Next: Press shortly to skip to the next song, hold for 3 seconds to fast forward
9. Volume -: Press to lower the volume level.
10. Repeat: Press to choose different repeat modes (repeat single track, full folder, random).

Attention: The BT distance is approx. 10meter without any barrier.

Activate the BT-function on your device (Mobile phone, tablet etc.) which you want to play the
music. See the operating instructions for that device.
Press the "MODE" button and activate BT-function of soundbox.
Select "MDJ160" on your BT-device and make the BT-connection
