Product usage
• The lid has been designed with a pivot that allows the top cooking plate to automatically
adjust to the thickness of the food, thus ensuring an even pressure for optimal grilling
results.
NOTE:
•
During the cooking process, the preheating indicator will intermittently
turn on and off while the meat grill's thermostat automatically adjusts the
temperature.
•
Always make sure that the food is thoroughly cooked before eating it.
5.
When the food is cooked as desired, lift the handle to open the lid and remove the food
using a heat-resistant utensil.
6.
If you have not finished cooking at this point, close the lid to conserve the heat.
WARNING!
To prevent the unit from overheating, do not leave it plugged in when not in use. If
it will take you some time to prepare the next batch of food, unplug the unit until
you are ready to use it again.
7.
Use tongs to wipe any excess oil off the cooking plate with kitchen roll.
8.
When you have finished using the meat grill, unplug it from the mains socket to turn it off.

provided in the Cleaning and maintenance section to clean the meat grill.
WARNING - RISK OF BURNS!
•
The unit's lid, cooking plates and metal surfaces can become very hot. Do
not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle.
•
Wear heat-resistant oven gloves to protect your hands from burns whilst
cooking.
•
Take special care when cooking food. Oils, fats and hot juices may splatter
when grilling. Stand a safe distance away from the unit.
COOKING TIPS:
•
This unit heats up and cooks fairly quickly. To make the cooking process more efficient,
prepare all the ingredients before turning the grill on.
•
The cooking time depends on the thickness of the food, type of meat/food and the
temperature of the grill. When grilling meat or vegetables in the unit, cut them into thin
slices in order to ensure that they can be cooked properly.
•
Squeeze any excess juice from the ingredients before placing them on the meat grill.
•
To prevent food from sticking to the cooking plates, always preheat the grill and lightly
grease the food or cooking plates with cooking oil or butter. Use lard for a more intense
flavour.
•
Always cook food in several batches. Avoid overloading the grill to prevent food from
being undercooked.
