Power connections
- Wind turbine connection: there are 3 MC4 inlets for the wind turbine.
At this point polarity is not important.
- Battery connection: these connectors are those which allow power to
reach the battery.
There is a switch to stop the turbine. This switch has the form of an emergency
mushroom-head button. Once pressed, to reset it, it must be turned clockwise to the
initial position.
- This brake is an electronic brake, so it needs energy to operate. For this
reason it is NOT convenient to disconnect the power of the equipment
(batteries) on a windy day either the controller is self-powered, if the
wind is very strong it will be difficult to stop the machine.
It is very important to take into account the polarity of the battery
outlets. If the polarity is connected incorrectly, an internal fuse will
break and will have to be replaced by the authorized qualified staff. If
the short circuit is continuous, higher than 1m, the equipment may suffer internal
damage and must be checked by the manufacturer.
