AC OPERATION
Before switching on make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the
rating plate. Connecting to other power sources may damage the unit.
Connect the plug to the AC socket of the unit and the other end to a standard AC outlet.
Attention
1. Do not plug or unplug the power cable while you have wet hands.
2. When planning not to use this unit for a long time, disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet.
3. When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, do not pull on the cord in order to avoid shock risks
caused by damaged cable.
BATTERY OPERATION
Disconnect the AC Cord Set completely. Open the Battery Compartment Door and insert 6 pieces UM-2 "C" size
batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.
RADIO OPERATION
1.
Set the function switch to RADIO position.
2.
Set the Band Switch to the AM or FM position.
3.
Turn the Tuning Knob to your desired radio station.
4.
Adjust the sound level by rotating the Volume Control knob.
5.
To turn off the radio, set the Function Switch to TAPE position
Antenna
For best reception, fully extend the FM Antenna to receive FM stations. For AM reception, the unit has a
built-in antenna, turn the whole unit for best reception.
CASSETTE OPERATION
Tape Playback
1.
Press the Eject button to open the cassette door, insert a cassette tape into the Cassette Compartment and
push the cassette door to close.
2.
Slide the Function Switch to TAPE position and press the Play button to start playing the tape.
3.
Adjust the Volume Control knob to your desired volume level.
4.
To stop the tape, simply press the Stop button.
Fast Forward and Rewind
The tape can be fast forward or rewind by pressing the Fast Forward button or Rewind button respectively.
Auto Stop System
When the tape runs to its end during playback or recording, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
Caution : To avoid damage to the cassette mechanism or to the cassette tape, always press the Stop button
between each operation.
