Troubleshoot your problem by using the chart below. If the dehumidifier still does
not work properly, contact BLACK+DECKER customer service center or the nearest
authorized service center.

POSSIBLE REMEDY
Check that the appliance is plugged into a
working outlet
Fill the water tank with water
Remove water from the water tank
Remove water tank and open cover. Let it
sit in cool environment for 12 hours
Clean the water tank/transducer and fill
with clean water.

Fill the water tank with more water
Move the humidifier to a stable flat surface
Some white dust is normal. It is caused
by the mineral content in the water which
creates white dust when released into
the air. To reduce white dust you can use
distilled water.
