3. USING THE VACUUM

WARNING: before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that the vacuum is switched OFF.
Switching ON and OFF (overview).
To switch the vacuum ON; set the on/off switch (4) to the on position (I).
To switch the vacuum OFF, set the on/off switch (4) to the off position (O).
Some vehicles require the engine to be running in order for the vacuum to work.
Using the accessories for vacuuming.
The accessories included with this vacuum can be used in various combinations, depending on the
task:
8-> General vacuuming/dusting.
7-> Vacuuming in confined spaces.
6-> Extension hose.
To use any accessory (fig. C, D, E): insert the appropriate accessory into the front of the dust suc-
tion opening.
