increasing the possibility of serious injury. Keep your chainsaw safe and maintain it regularly.
Use only original manufacturer's spare parts and accessories, otherwise possible injury, machine malfunction and
warranty void may result.
Repairs require extreme care and knowledge of the product and must be carried out by the Official Technical

Remove the battery before any adjustment, maintenance or cleaning, otherwise serious personal injury may
result.
Sharpening the chain safely is a specialized task. The manufacturer therefore recommends that a worn or
damaged chain be replaced with a new one.

REPLACEMENT OF SWORD AND SAW CHAIN
ATENCIÓN: The saw chain is very sharp, always wear protective gloves when performing any
maintenance on the chain. A dull or worn chain can cause excessive engine speed during cutting,
which can cause severe engine damage. Incorrect chain sharpening increases the potential for
kickback. Failure to replace or repair a damaged chain can cause serious injury.
1.
Unscrew the chain tensioner knob by turning it counterclockwise until the sprocket cover loosens.
2.
Remove the sprocket cover. Remove the sword and saw chain from the unit.
3.
To replace the sword with a new one, unscrew the nut on the chain tension assembly. Mount the chain
tension assembly to the new sword and tighten the nut.
4.
Place the new chain in the correct direction on the sword and make sure that the drive links of the unit are
aligned in the groove of the sword.
5.
Attach the sword to the chain saw and wrap the chain around the drive sprocket.
