Please read this manual carefully before using your Mayer Barbecue pizza oven. Please save this instruction ma-
nual for any future reference.
•
Failure to follow the hazard statements, warnings and precautions contained in this manual could result in serious
or fatal personal injury or property damage.

•
The pizza oven is expressly NOT intended for outdoor
use.
•
Operate the oven only on heat-resistant surfaces.
•
The appliance should not be used by children or
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge.
•
Children must not play with the appliance. Parents
are liable for their children.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried
out by children.
•
Keep the pizza oven away from flammable materials
such as paper, cloths, chemicals, etc. and do not pla-
ce the appliance near easily flammable objects such
as curtains, partitions, wood, etc.
•
Connect and use the appliance only according to the
information on the type plate.
•
Use the appliance only if the power cable, the socket
and the appliance show no damages. Check before
every use.
•
WARNING: do not pinch or rub the power cable
against sharp edges and check it regularly for
damage.
•
If the main cable is damaged, the appliance cannot
be used anymore.
•
The power cable of this appliance can and must only
be replaced by qualified personnel.
•
Always ensure that the right voltage (220-240 V) is
applied to the outlet used. The outlet and its fuse
must also be suitable for a system with a power
consumption of up to 2,200 watts.
•
Plug the appliance only to a grounded power outlet.
•
Do not start operating the appliance if the socket is
broken.
•
Ensure that no other appliances with high power
consumption are connected in the same circuit when
the pizza oven is in operation.
•
Remove the plug after each use or in case of failure
from the wall outlet. CAUTION: grasp the plug, not
the power cord.
•
Keep the power cable away from hot parts.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
•
Only operate the pizza oven on horizontal and stable
surfaces.
•
Do not move the pizza oven when it is in operation.
•
Never leave the appliance without supervision during
the operation.
•
ATTENTION: parts of the pizza oven can become very
hot. Keep the pizza oven out of the reach of small
children and pets.
•
During operation, touch the pizza oven only by the
handles provided. CAUTION: the handles of the pizza
oven can also become hot during operation.
•
Wear protective gloves when touching hot parts of
oven.
•
The appliance can hold high temperatures long after
it has been turned off. Be careful not to burn yourself
and not to place anything on the pizza oven, there is
a risk of fire.
•
Keep the pizza oven at least 3 m away from water
basins, pools or ponds to prevent the pizza oven from
being sprayed wet or falling into the water.
•
In order to avoid any dangers, repairs to the applian-
ce must only be performed by qualified personnel.
•
All original parts delivered by the manufacturer are
not allowed to be changed.
•
If necessary, use exclusively earthed extension cable
for min. 10 A (230 V) current and be careful that it
does not become a trip hazard or the appliance could
be knocked down.
•
If needed, use an extension cable that is as short as
possible.
•
Never unite 2 or more extension cable.
•
Do not lay the power cable in the way.
•
Never immerse the pizza oven, heating parts or the
cord into water or other liquids for cleaning: risk of
injury, fire hazard and electrical shock.
•
If the appliance becomes wet or damp immediately
pull the power plug. Do not seize in the water.
•
Switch the temperature controller to „0" even during
short periods of non-use to avoid overheating.
