The installed height and the intensity should reflect the intended use of the heater.

Install the heater at a lower height in areas where more intense warmth is required.

Install IFC-2000 higher where less intense warmth is required.
For permanent installation, the unit must be located in a position to allow proper an efficient use but
ensuring hot parts can not be touched accidentally.
The recommended installation height of the is 2.4m to 3.5m from the floor.
Important: Do not install the heater below 2.4m if any kind of automated on/off controller is going to be
used.
Under no circumstances install IFC-2000 heater bellow than 1.8m from the floor. Consideration should be
given to any temporary or occasional additions such as stages or platforms and adjusted accordingly.
For outdoor use, or other areas with air movement/wind, the directional infrared spread may reduce by 1/3
to 1/2.
Wall/ceiling installation swivel brackets are provided with the heater which has been specifically designed to
allow this product to be fitted to a wall or ceiling with adequate clearances at the back of the unit. Do not
install the heater with any other bracket except those provided.
The sides and ends of the heater must always be at least 500mm away from the nearest wall, ceiling or other
structure.
The product must be installed using the bracket provided to separate the product from the wall. Do not install
the heater fitted to the wall or ceiling.
