UsE and OpEratiOn
ASIST tools are intended for home or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and importer do not recommend
using this tool in extreme conditions and under high
loads.
Any additional requirements must be the subject of
an agreement between the manufacturer and the
customer.
Always remove the mains plug from the socket before
working on the device.
Construction
The device is designed to remove weeds in between
pavement slabs, on paved surfaces,
on the masonry, in flower beds and in lawns during
growth period,
- removing paints and their residues from wood, metal
and plastics;
- removing self-adhesive labels;
- affixing PVC labels;
- molding materials that soften at low temperatures,
including acrylic plastics and plexiglass;
- thermal bonding of synthetic materials, including
PVC-coated materials and foils;
- work with heat-shrinkable pipes;
- heating of pipe fittings and pipe bending;
- repairs of skis, surfboards and similar sports
equipment.
Commissioning
- Insert the extension cable loop into the designated
strain relief in the handle and fasten it in the
designated crossbar.
- Connect the device with the extension cable
to the socket (230 V AC).
- Switch on the device by sliding switch 6. After
approx. 1 min. the operating temperature is fully
reached.
- Now use a cone to remove weeds
nozzle according to the type of plant for approx. 5-10
s per plant to be treated.
- For taller plants, first warm the upper part of the
plant briefly and then place a cone nozzle on the
shrunk plant for about 5-10 seconds.
The device is particularly suitable for removal
weeds.
- Weed control is most effective at an early stage at
the beginning of the growing season.
- The time is spring.
- The younger the plant, the more intensive the
processing. However, the success of this measure is
not immediately visible.
Longer exposure / processing can also tan the visible
part of the plant.
- However, the plants do not react immediately to
thermal radiation at the recommended exposure time.
In principle:
Young plants with soft leaves are the most sensitive
to processing. After that, they are no longer viable.
- Older plants with hard leaves, such as thistles, often
have to be worked on at intervals of about 1-2 weeks
to dry.
Hardwood grasses are very robust and must be
worked on longer.
- Initially, the cultivation of overgrown areas must
be repeated several times in a short time in order
to achieve lasting success. Then there is sufficient
machining at longer intervals.
- Burning of plants is not necessary. When heated,
the leaf cells dry out and the weeds die.
- Repeated processing of some weed species may
be required.
TEMPERATURE SETTING:
The hot air gun has two setting options:
1. Low temperature - for cooling the device.
Setting: 80 0C
2. High temperature - for fast heating of the material,
where it is also possible to work the gun at a greater
distance. Setting: 650 0C
Switching on and off
The gun can be switched to a lower or higher
temperature.
Set the switch (6) to the ‚I' position to set a lower
temperature.
Set the switch to the ‚II' position to set a higher
temperature.
To turn off the gun, slide the switch to the 0 0
'position.
WARNING: Keep your hands away from heat.
