Application
Door loudspeaker Line-Level with
integrated loudspeaker and micro-
phone, for connection to a sym-
metrical or asymmetrical line inter-
face, e.g. to DoorCom IP systems,
IP servers as well as on IP telephone
systems.
Performance features:
• Loudspeaker, voice volume can
be adjusted
• Durable electret microphone,
microphone amplifier with volume
control
• Symmetrical or asymmetrical
transmission of line signals can be
performed (separate microphone
and loudspeaker)
• Line-in 800 mV
, impedance
eff
2 kOhm
• Line-out 100 mV
, impedance
eff
100 Ohm
• Built-in echo cancellation for full-
duplex operation
• Muting function
Connection and configuration at the
remote station must be performed
by specialist personnel familiar with
IP technology.
Electrical voltage
Mounting, installation and servicing
work on electrical devices may only
be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician.
Servicing
The functional unit can be com-
pletely exchanged if required.
Information regarding replacement
and checking the functional units
can be found in the product infor-
mation for the door station.

Installation
The power supply is provided with
an NG 602-... or a power supply
unit 15–28 V DC, 200 mA. In com-
bination with DoorCom- IP devices,
the supply is provided from the
supply terminals bv+ and cv–.
Range
The range is 250 m with J-Y(St)Y
0.8 mm cable and a periphery
output impedance of < 100 Ohm.
2 The mute function is switched off
by connecting terminal Mu to –.

Level setting
The optimum microphone and
loudspeaker level setting as well as
the quality of the echo compensa-
tion depend largely on the con-
nected remote station. The door
loudspeaker is set in the factory to a
mean value for the line level signal
(1 Vss) (potentiometers in the central
position).
As a rule, the connected devices
offer comprehensive scope for
setting using their configuration
software. It is advisable to initially
set the optimum volume conditions
by means of the software configura-
tion.
Only if the result is unsatisfactory
is it advisable to readjust using the
potentiometer integrated in the door
loudspeaker.
6 The microphone level "c" and
loudspeaker level "b" can be
changed with the plastic key "a"
which is inserted in the inspection
shaft cover.
7 Using a changeover switch (Boost)
integrated in the door loudspeaker,
the sensitivity of the loudspeaker
amplifier can be increased or
decreased by 6 dB.
The potentiometers and the boost
can only be accessed once the oper-
ating panel has been removed.
Information regarding mounting and
removal can be found in the product
information for the door station.
