This appliance is intended for household use. Unplug product before cleaning. The product must be
cleaned only when cool.
Use a soft non-abrasive cloth that is slightly dampened with water to wipe styling barrel surface. Do not
allow water or any other liquid to get into the handle of the iron. Any other servicing should be performed
by a qualified service center.
The product should not be stored while hot or plugged in. When not in use, allow curling ironto cool, then
simply put back in the box and store out of reach of children in safe, dry location.Never wrap the cord
around the curling iron. This could cause the cord to wear prematurelyand break.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal
waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
