Initial Operation
•
Remove all the packing material from the interior
•
Take the adhesive strips off the foil roll.
1. Insert the mains plug into an AC safety socket, 230 V,
50 Hz (diagram A).
2. In order to form a bag from the roller foil, unroll the required
part of the foil (max. 29 cm) (diagram B) and separate this
by heat-sealing (diagram C+F).
3. Fill the bag.
4. Remove the remaining air out of the bag by suction and then
heat-seal it.
Removing Air by Suction
•
Open the lid and place the suction nozzle in the bag. The
top and bottom of the bag must be lying flat on the foam
material edge next to the suction nozzle (diagram D).
•
Close the lid and press only the left edge of the lid down. Air
is now sucked out of the bag (diagram E).
CAUTION: Ensure that no liquid is sucked up.
Heat-sealing
•
Press down the lid on both sides. The red control lamp for
„VACUUM" and the green one for „SEAL" illuminate.
•
As soon as the green control lamp goes out the lid may
be opened. The heat-sealing operation is now complete
(diagram G).
•
Gently release both parts of the foil from the heat-sealing
wire (diagram G).
CAUTION:
Short-time operating: The device should only be left
switched on for 13 seconds. This should then be followed by a
break of at least 90 seconds.
