Mains connection

Use the mains cable supplied.
 Connect the plug on the mains cable with the
device.
 Plug the mains plug into an easily accessible socket (230 V ~ 50 Hz).
The player is now in standby mode. The red standby indicator is now lit and the
time is shown on the screen with a weak light (for first use: 00:00:00).

Connecting an external device

Connect an audio device for which the sound system will play the sound to the
AUX IN L/R
socket.
 Switch the player to standby mode.
 Switch off your external device.
 Insert the red and white plugs of a cinch cable into the appropriately marked
AUX IN
input sockets.
 Plug the other end of the cinch cable into
your external unit.
 Switch your external unit on.
 On the sound system use
select AUX-IN.
