■ Bur Insertion
1. Turn the handle to open the handpiece chuck.
2. Insert the bur in the front of handpiece.
3. Lock the handpiece chuck by turning the handle.
※ Bur connection method is same regardless of the handpiece type.
- Be sure to lock the chuck before use. It may cause damage to the handpiece.
- Make sure that the bur is not damaged.
- Check the Bur dimension. (Bur Dimension: Φ2.35mm)
OPERATION PROCESS
1. Put up the handpiece and turn on the control box.
(When the power is turned on, the beep sound is ring and the RPM is displayed on the indicator.)
- The first characters shown on the indicator when the power is turned on are software versions.
2. Select the rotation direction by pressing the Rotation Direction Select Button. When the left light is on,
the forward direction is selected, when the right light is on, the reverse direction is selected.
3. Select the operation method by pressing the Hand(Knee)/Foot Select Button.
When the left light is on, hand(knee) is selected, when the right light is on, foot is selected
■ How to use when select the hand(knee)
4. Control the desired speed by turning the speed control dial.
5. Operate the handpiece by controlling the knee controller.
(Handpiece is worked within setting range.)
6. Knee controller is released, handpiece is stopped
■ Auto Cruise Function
It is function to fix the speed of handpiece when operation by handpiece.
Operate the handpiece at the desired speed with the auto cruise function activated. Hold the speed for 3~5 seconds,
the speed is kept with beep sound.
To release the function, press the auto cruise button or press the knee controller or foot controller again.
■ Maximum Speed Change Function (FORTE 200α, FORTE 200αD Only)
It is function to change the maximum speed from 40,000 rpm to 50,000 rpm.
Press the Hand(Knee)/Foot Select Button and Auto Cruise Button. Maximum speed is enlarged to 50,000 rpm.
Re-press the two buttons, Maximum speed is returned.
■ Overload Protective Function
If handpiece is overloaded, after about 5 seconds, beep sound is ring and the error code 'E1' is displayed at the indicator
and handpiece is stopped. To release the function, press the knee controller or foot controller again.
■ How to use when select the foot
4. Control the desired speed by turning the speed control dial.
5. Operate the handpiece by controlling the foot controller .
(Handpiece is worked within setting range.)
6. Foot controller is released, handpiece is stopped.
