5. Attach the backrest to the seat cushion using the metal washer (E-3), the
star washer (E-2), and the screw knob (E-1) with the allen wrench (H). The
backrest should be positioned on top of the seat plate as shown.
6. Place the chair over the gas lift mechanism. Align the hole at the center of
the seat plate with the top of the gas lift. Then press down with even
pressure until they are firmly secured.

To adjust seat height
Lift your body from the chair and lean forward to remove your body weight from
the seat. Reach underneath the right side of the chair and locate the handle.
Lift the handle up slowly to allow the chair to rise to the desired height. To
lower the chair's height, lift the handle slowly while seated.
