Descaling the coffee maker
WARNING!
• Regular descaling will improve the coffee maker's
lifespan.
• The frequency required for descaling will vary depending
on the hardness of the water and the amount you use
the coffee maker.
• Only use descalers that are made for this specific
purpose and follow the manufacturer's instructions
carefully.
• Using filtered water will reduce the amount of scale in
the coffee maker.
After 500 coffee cycles, all indicator lights will flash 5 times to
alert you that coffee maker requires descaling. This alert will
keep appearing each time you turn on the coffee maker until it
is descaled.
• Fill the water tank up to the MAX mark (1L) and then add the
descaler as per manufacturer's instructions.
